[ Looking a little dazed, because his thoughts aren't connecting as quick as they normally might be, clouded from the abruptness of finding the temple clearing empty once more when he'd gotten home, his few things on a pile in the grass, Yata can only blink at him a moment in utter confusion.

And then he huffs, turning away from the bed and going after his bag and board again. ]

If it's a problem, I can find somewhere else tonight.

[But Fushimi steps in front of Misaki, scoffing.]

I didn't say it was. But if I'm hardly here, this place isn't good enough for you, not like last time.

[ It's enough to make him stop, tense and uncertain for a moment, before he turns and drops to the edge of Saru's bed, burying his head in his hands. ]

[Sighing a little, though not from exasperation, Fushimi goes over to his mini-fridge to pull out one of the nasty beers Misaki drinks and tosses it to him.]

[ He catches it - more on instinct than anything else - and just stares at it for a moment before setting it aside on the nightstand. ]

Thanks, but I don't... [ He pauses, staring at the floor for a moment as he tries to find the right words. ] I promised her it would be different this time. That I wouldn't... I don't want her to worry.

One beer won't make her worry, Misaki. Unless you haven't eaten.

Back at dinner.

[ He shakes his head, but still doesn't take it back. Instead, he flops over onto his back on Saru's bed, his legs still hanging over the edge. ]

...so six hours ago?

Yeah, probably. It's fine. I'm not really hungry right now anyway.

I have pizza.

[ He peeks one eye open suspiciously. ]

Why are you trying to feed me and get me drunk all of a sudden?

Because what the fuck else am I supposed to do?

[ Yata blinks before shooting Saru an amused look. Instead, he just reaches out a hand. ]

Come here.

[Confused, Fushimi does, taking Misaki's hand.]

[ Yata abruptly drags him down on the bed beside him, not bothering to warn him. ]

Misaki, wha--

[He goes with a soft noise, nearly sitting on Misaki in his surprise.]

[ Yata just rolls him onto his back and then half-sprawls along his side, using his shoulder as a pillow. ]

Shut up. Just. Stay here? For a little while?

[monkeyblue]

...tch.

[Fushimi sits up to grab his phone but he lies back down with Misaki as soon as he has it.]

[ Yata doesn't say anything, just lets him get settled and then lays there, using him as a pillow for a while. ]
